To fulfill its purpose, the Extension requests the following permissions under strict user-initiated conditions: activeTab & scripting: Used solely to detect a highlighted word and render the lookup results panel directly on your active page when you request it.
contextMenus: Used to provide a seamless entry point via the right-click menu.
storage & downloads: Used to locally save your bookmarked words and allow you to safely download/export your vocabulary list.
